HM Pilgrimages

What is a pilgrimage with the Home of the Mother like? Are you looking for an intense experience that isn’t just another sightseeing trip? Are you interested in traveling around visiting well-known religious sites, to witness first-hand where saints have lived radically and intensely for their faith? Have you ever wanted to meet other young people who share the same values that you possess?

chicoA pilgrimage with the Home clarifies the connection between living a life completely for God and having true happiness. The spirit of joyful self-giving and abandonment to God’s will manifests itself in any given moment, whether it be sharing personal experiences, dining road-side style, sleeping where you can, learning to serve others…

The generosity of each participant contributes so much to this joy, and enables everyone to have a great time while learning valuable life-long lessons. Through the example of the Sisters and the Brothers, and the emphasis given to prayer, mass, and formation, helps to strengthen each santiagoindividual in his own walk of faith. These pilgrimages surpass any mere sightseeing touristic vacation. They venture into the undeniable truth of who one is and for what one lives.

He who comes on a Home of the Mother pilgrimage with an open heart realizes all this and receives so many graces. These pilgrimages help one to rediscover the meaning of one's life. They have already changed so many lives for the better.
